EMC in an installation is usually resolved by fixing the path rather than the source or the victim. Segregation distance, screen termination practice and the integrity of the bonding network account for the majority of findings, and all three are installation workmanship rather than equipment selection.

We confirm the question the study must answer, agree the measurement or modelling points, and collect what the work depends on: equipment inventory with emc declarations and immunity classifications; cable routing and segregation drawings, and the earthing and bonding arrangement; symptom log identifying which equipment.
Measurement & modelling
Engineers carry out the measurement and modelling on site and in software, under operating conditions representative of the problem rather than a single convenient snapshot.
Analysis against standard
Results are assessed against IEC 61000-2-4, IEC 61000-4 series, IEC 61000-6-2 and IEC 61000-6-4, with the assessment basis and any measurement uncertainty stated rather than implied.

You receive a signed engineering report with findings ranked by consequence, the reasoning behind each conclusion, and mitigation options costed so they can be acted on or deferred deliberately.

Common questions.
Typically in one of these situations: control or instrumentation systems behaving erratically near power equipment; commissioning a new drive, welding or rf installation next to sensitive systems; recurring communication errors on field buses or instrumentation loops. If none of these apply, the study is unlikely to be the right next step and we will say so.
