Inspection & testing field-data, not sales.
Independent on-site testing of switchgear, transformers, cables, and relays — calibrated equipment, certified engineers, audit-ready reports.
The full electrical condition picture.
Thermographic inspection of switchgear, busbars, and connections
HV testing (Hipot, partial discharge, dielectric withstand)
Switchgear and circuit breaker functional testing
Transformer testing (turns ratio, winding resistance, insulation, dielectric)
Cable diagnostics (VLF, tan delta, partial discharge)
Protection relay testing and secondary injection
What the data tells us.
Inspection and testing under Carelabs is purely advisory. We do not sell switchgear, we do not install equipment, we do not accept OEM commissions on what our findings recommend. Our reports are conflict-free — and that distinction shows up in what we test and how we report it.
Field equipment is calibrated to ISO 17025 traceable standards. Every reading is timestamped, geo-tagged, and tied back to the asset's nameplate data in the report. Anomalies are ranked by criticality with a concrete corrective action — not a brochure for a replacement product.
What you receive.
Condition assessment report
Per-asset findings with risk ranking, photos, and timestamps.
Thermographic imagery
Raw IR images and side-by-side visible-spectrum reference photos.
Test certificates
Calibrated equipment certificates and result records for each asset tested.
Recommended actions
Concrete next steps — clean, retighten, replace, monitor — never tied to a vendor.
Retest schedule
Cadence recommendations for your maintenance management system.
Closeout meeting
Engineer walkthrough of findings with your operations and electrical teams.
How we run a campaign.
Scope & Site Survey
On-site walk-down, single-line diagram review, nameplate verification, and protective device setting capture by a lead engineer.
Modelling & Analysis
Network rebuilt in industry-standard software. Coupled studies — load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination.
Findings & Mitigation
Every finding ranked by risk, with concrete mitigation paths — relay setting changes, breaker upgrades, PPE labelling.
Implementation & Verification
Re-issue after commissioning, retest, and sign-off. Closure on paper and on the floor — labelled, documented, signed.
Field work to your auditors' satisfaction.
Common questions.
We scope per site after the initial walk-down. A fixed-fee proposal follows within the agreed quoting window with a named lead engineer and a deliverable list.
Yes. Deliverables align with NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, IEC 60364, IEC 61482, ATEX, IECEx, BSI, and AS/NZS, and are issued by certified power systems engineers.
Most analytical work is offline from data we capture. Field testing is scheduled around your operations with planned outage windows or live techniques where safe and standards-compliant.
