The inspection and testing should be carried out on electrical installation at appropriate intervals to find out, if anything, needs to be done to improve efficiency of power system.

An electrical hazard that can be identified EICR inspection:

  • Poor insulation resistance values of cables and other equipment.
  • A poor earthing system, by which the leakage current cannot dissipate to earth safety freely.
  • Poor terminations of cables lead to temperature rise
  • Risks involved with your electrical system
  • Improper sizes and types of cables
  • Perished Insulation and oxidation of cables.
  • Poor routing of cables.
  • Poor manufacturing standards of panels, equipment, and inadequate space within panels.
  • Poor ventilation circulation within the panels also leads to a rise in temperatures,
  • Humidity levels within the electrical panels

Care Labs offers electrical installation testing and inspection service at pace with the changes in the CE code or CSA C22.1 – Canadian Electrical Code and the British Columbia Electrical Safety Regulations.
